Established in 1906, Takai Seiki was the first company in Japan
to succeed in the commercial manufacture of bearing retainers and
has specialized in these products until today, continually aiming
to achieve superior levels of technology and quality. It is especially
proud of its technology related to miniature bearing retainers.
Miniature bearings are used widely in OA equipment, such as in facsimile
machine drums and personal computer disc drives, and small bearings
with diameters of 8mm-9mm are commonly used on the rotating shafts
of refrigerators, vacuum cleaners and washing machines as well as
in the magnetic heads of videotape recorders, where high precision
is required.
